America Must Reject Netanyahu’s War Cry on Iran

March 7, 2015 by element115
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to Washington this week to prepare the American people for war against Iran. Backed by American neoconservatives, the Israel lobby, and assorted other war hawks, Netanyahu insists that Iran intends to build a nuclear weapon and thus is an “existential threat” to Israel. He has no confidence that President Obama will negotiate an agreement that once and for all will end Iran’s alleged nuclear ambitions.

Thus the prime minister’s objective is nothing less than to wreck the current negotiations and push America into a regime-changing war against Iran.

Netanyahu’s narrative is a fabric of lies and omissions.

EU won’t be pushed into confrontation over Ukraine – foreign policy chief

by element115
The idea of providing lethal aid to Kiev is popular among many NATO officials and American politicians. US House Speaker John Boehner and a bipartisan group of top lawmakers called on President Barack Obama to deliver the weapons. But Europeans are opposing the move, which would likely escalate tensions with Russia.

“The European Union today is extremely realistic about developments in Russia. But we will never be trapped or forced or pushed or pulled into a confrontative [sic] attitude,” the EU’s Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini told the media on Friday, following an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Riga, Latvia.

US War on ISIS a Trojan Horse

by element115
The fighters are real. Their atrocities are real. The notion that they’ve sprung out of the dunes of Syria and Iraq, picked their weapons from local date trees and have managed to wage war regionally against several collective armies is entirely fantasy.

ISIS itself is a fictional creation. In reality the legions of terrorists fighting across the Arab World under the flag of “ISIS” are the same Al Qaeda militants the US, Saudi Arabia and others in an utterly unholy axis have been backing, arming and exploiting in a variety of ways for decades.

ISIS commander treated in Turkish hospital ‘like all other citizens’

by element115
Authorities in Turkey have confirmed social media reports that an injured Islamic State commander is being treated in a Denizli hospital, saying the militant has every right to receive medical care as he is a Turkish citizen.

The man, identified as Emrah Cakan, has reportedly been recovering in a hospital in Denizli in southwestern Turkey since February 28.

He was among 1,000 Turks, who joined the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), and quickly rose to the rank of a senior commander.

Is The Nemtsov Murder The First Shot Fired In The Russian Spring?

March 2, 2015 by element115
While the possibility that Nemtsov could have been assassinated by Russian government officials certainly exists, the much more likely scenario is that NATO intelligence and “revolutionary” networks were responsible for his murder.

The facts, however, will never stop the American press from moving forward with blatant lies and conjecture nor will it ever stop an American populace from believing said blatant lies and conjecture.

Pegida UK falls flat

March 1, 2015 by element115
Fewer than 300 people turned up in Newcastle for the first-ever rally of anti-Islamist group Pegida in the UK, while at least 1,500 gathered to protest the demo, just hundreds of yards away.

A drum circle was set up at the heart of the crowd, as demonstrators chanted “Pegida are not welcome here!”

UK’s Pegida has been modeled on the marches in Germany that began in October in Dresden, and gathered over 25,000 for their best-attended weekly demonstrations, before numbers fell off as the group's leadership found itself mired in controversy.

UK’s Pegida was organized mostly by members of far-right street movement English Defence League (EDL), which also focuses on an anti-immigrant agenda, and other marginal groups.

Newcastle was chosen as it was the site of the two best-attended EDL marches in 2010 and 2013. Organizers say they will stage their next anti-Islamization protest in London.

Kiev Junta Ascendancy to Power Big Lies

by element115
They instituted total information control. Independent media are prohibited. State propaganda all the time substitutes.

Education is mind-manipulating indoctrination, not real learning. Self-fulfillment is pure fantasy.

Millions of Ukrainians are deeply impoverished. Growing numbers are unemployed. Social services are disappearing altogether.

Illegitimate prime minister Yatsenyuk nows tells Ukrainians "the country does not have resources as (they're) spent on defense, the army, tanks, (other) weapons, on strengthening security, (and) building a border."

In other words, people needs don't matter. Waging war against ordinary Ukrainians wanting democratic freedoms Kiev denies comes first.

At the same time Ukraine's currency is crashing toward worthlessness. Hyperinflation threatens and all the misery it entails.

Rationing was instituted. Europe's "breadbasket" can't feed its own people. Last year's harvest was sold abroad. Food reserves are gone.

Essentials to life are in short supply or nonexistent. Ukrainians are dying for lack of medical care.

The entire country is on life support headed toward collapse - under fascist lunatics tolerating no opposition.

Maidan's broken promises may precipitate greater protests than a year ago for real change hoodlums in charge won't tolerate.

The best way to distract people from economic misery is by scaring them to believe nonexistent threats are real.

Expect junta propaganda to try convincing Ukrainians that renewed war is justified. Whether they'll buy it is something else entirely.

When stomachs are empty, people want butter, not guns, peace not war, officials in charge serving them, not their own interests exclusively.

Google modifying algorithm in attempt to become the Internets Ministry of Truth

by element115
A Google research team is adapting that model to measure the trustworthiness of a page, rather than its reputation across the web. Instead of counting incoming links, the system – which is not yet live – counts the number of incorrect facts within a page. "A source that has few false facts is considered to be trustworthy," says the team. The score they compute for each page is its Knowledge-Based Trust score.

Israeli officials have asked the US Congress for an additional $317 million to be added to the proposed budget for the regime's missile programs.

No Conspiracy Theory Required: We Already Know Who’s Behind the Islamic State

by element115
Isn’t it convenient how the Muslims always seem to step up and make neocon dreams come true? The neocons needed a “New Pearl Harbor” to embark on the “War on Terror,” and Al-Qaeda kindly delivered 9/11. The neocons needed a Sunni extremist reign of terror to assist in Condolezza Rice’s promised destabilization of Syria and Iran, and lo and behold, the Islamic State emerged from the sands.

Pure coincidence? Not likely.

Obama renews controversial NSA surveillance program

by element115
The Obama administration formally asked the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to renew the NSA’s spying this week as it does every 90 days to keep the program active.

On Friday, Obama received FISA court authorization weeks before June 1, a legal deadline when Congress either reauthorizes the existing law, replaces it or allows the program to expire.

This will be the final approval before the portion of the Patriot Act undergirding the program expires.

The controversial law allows the NSA to gather phone metadata including information about who called whom and when, but not the actual contents of the talks.

Russian bloggers analyze Nemtsov's murder

by element115
It is obvious that the entire democratic liberoid party will now howl, and will blame Putin. Poroshenko will reward the deceased with the order of the Heavenly Hundred and wringing his hands will begin to ask the West to save him from the bloody dictator Sauron Vladimirovich from black Mordor. McCain, Sakashvili and others, the name of which is a Legion, will make a banner out of Boris, shaking his portrait in the Senate and other decent places. In short - another provocation. Same provocations, as Borya himself was constantly creating, to shit on Russia and Putin, but this time they played him.

Russian Opposition: Putin Did NOT Assassinate Opposition Leader

by element115
U.S. media is quick to blame Putin for the assassination of opposition leader Boris Nemtsov.

But Itina Khakamada – a top ally of Nemtsov in the opposition – said the killing was “clearly not in Putin’s interest. It’s aimed at rocking the situation.”

Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev agrees.

Even the U.S. government’s Voice of America states – in an article entitled “Could Nemtsov Threaten Putin in Death as in Life?” – that Putin loses much more than he gains by the assassination.
