WHAT IS GOING ON ????????
by element115
The drumbeat of an approaching war with Iran reverberates through U.S. diplomatic documents leaked by the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks.
...the WikiLeak’s trove of stolen U.S. diplomatic cables shows, in unprecedented ways, the growing pressures being put on Washington to find a military solution to Iran’s growing nuclear threat.
Iran’s nuclear program “must be stopped . . . by whatever means necessary.”
...“the U.S. will not be able to avoid a military conflict with Iran, if it is serious in its intention to prevent Tehran from achieving a nuclear weapons capability.”
Arab states simply look the other way, if Israel finally decides to launch a preemptive military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Saudi Arabia and Jordan have already cut secret deals with Israel.
Israeli pilots are also said to have conducted bombing-run drills in the Negev desert.
Israel staged a full dress rehearsal for a strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
U.S. officials believe Israel is capable of staging a raid single-handed.
...“a different world” in four to five years.
Israel: "See, we've told you. And now let us attack."
Sick. I feel sick.
We are probably standing on the edge of huge tragedy.

Wikileaks and State Department correspondence
by element115
Index on Censorship has obtained copies of correspondence between whistleblowing website Wikileaks and the US embassy in the United Kingdom.
28 November
Julian Assange, Editor in Chief, WikiLeaks
to
US Ambassador to London, Louis Susman
" I understand that the United States government would prefer not to have the information that will be published in the public domain and is not in favour of openness. That said, either there is a risk or there is not.
You have chosen to respond in a manner which leads me to conclude that the supposed risks are entirely fanciful and you are instead concerned to suppress evidence of human rights abuse and other criminal behaviour. "
