U.S. and U.K. Marked ‘Enemies of the Internet’

The mass surveillance conducted by U.S. and U.K. spy agencies was unpopular enough to land the two leading democratic governments on the same “enemies of the Internet” list as Russia and China compiled by press freedom advocacy group, Reporters Without Borders.

The eight-year-old annual index on Internet freedom ranks the nations of the world according to free speech, free press and open access to the Web.

NSA recorded "every single" call in one country

The National Security Agency has built a surveillance system capable of recording “100 percent” of a foreign country’s telephone calls, according to people with direct knowledge of the effort and documents supplied by former contractor Edward Snowden.

A senior manager for the program compares it to a time machine — one that can replay the voices from any call without requiring that a person be identified in advance for surveillance.

Snowden: NSA ‘Setting Fire To The Internet,’ Violated Constitution ‘On A Massive Scale’

National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden spoke at this year’s South By Southwest Interactive Festival.
Snowden participated remotely as he remains in Moscow where he’s living in temporary asylum, reportedly making use of seven proxy servers in order to avoid being located.

Ukraine was coup d'état by the CIA

What has occurred in Ukraine was not a popular revolution, it was a carefully orchestrated coup d’état. The "demonstrators" with the metal barricades, bullet proof vest, army helmets, weapons, shield and masks were very well organized and trained. The whole affair was orchestrated by the West in an attempt to bring Ukraine into NATO and split Russia.

Most American mainstream media say that the Ukrainian people rose up against a decadent dictator to chart their own destiny.

On the other hand, some knowledgeable commentators say that the Ukrainian protests were really a violent coup initiated by the U.S., and carried out by Neo-Nazi factions within Ukraine.
