Al Salafi also confessed that he – along with a Pakistani accomplice, reportedly imam of a mosque – was recruiting people to send them to Syria and was getting around $600 per person from Syria.

Ukrainian Government: "No Russian Troops Are Fighting Against Us"

by element115
Ukraine’s top general is contradicting allegations by the Obama Administration and by his own Ukrainian Government, by saying that no Russian troops are fighting against the Ukrainian Government’s forces in the formerly Ukrainian, but now separatist, area, where the Ukrainian civil war is being waged.

“Ukrainian army is not fighting with the regular units of the Russian army.”

He is explicitly and clearly denying the very basis for the EU’s sanctions against Russia, and for the U.S.’s sanctions against Russia.

Israel source says leaked report of Netanyahu-Mossad rift on Iran sanctions is 'Obama's revenge'

by element115
Israeli officials in Jerusalem told Army Radio on Thursday that a report in Bloomberg highlighting the rift between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the vaunted intelligence agency Mossad over Iran sanctions was “the Obama administration’s revenge” over the Republican-controlled Congress’ invitation to the premier to speak before a joint session without consulting the White House.

US war against ISIL is ‘total fraud’ to create a CIA base: Journalist

by element115
The United States is fighting a “multi-front war” against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad because he operates independently from the West, said Dean Henderson, an author and columnist at Veterans Today.

“This whole ISIS thing is just an attempt to carve out this base where CIA, Mossad, British intelligence … can operate freely and attack Syria for now but maybe later Iran,” Henderson told on Sunday.

Henderson said Congress is wasting “precious US tax dollars” to fund the false fight against ISIL, which the CIA helped create in the beginning.

“We’re not against ISIS, we are ISIS, we created ISIS, we trained ISIS, we are ISIS,” he acknowledged.

Long-time presenter Jim Clancy leaves CNN after ‘anti-Israel’ Twitter rant

by element115
Veteran US TV journalist Jim Clancy has abruptly left the international news broadcaster after 34 years, following a seemingly tangential Twitter argument over Charlie Hebdo that escalated to a verbal war between Clancy and pro-Israel social media users.

“Jim Clancy is no longer with CNN. We thank him for more than three decades of distinguished service, and wish him nothing but the best,”said a terse statement from the Atlanta-headquartered network.

“The cartoons NEVER mocked the Prophet. They mocked how the COWARDS tried to distort his word. Pay attention,” tweeted Clancy on January 7.

“This is great, a pro-Israel voice try [sic] to convince us that cartoonists were really anti-Muslim, and that’s why they were attacked. FALSE. These accounts are part of a campaign to do PR for Israel(including “Jews Making News”) but not HR (Human Rights.),” read one tweet.

US-Backed Naked Kiev Aggression on Donbas

by element115
Ukraine is America's newest colony. Illegitimate fascist governance in Europe's heartland.

US installed puppet leaders run things. Threatening to destabilize the entire continent. Waging war on their own people.

Naked aggression by any standard. Dirty war. Without mercy. Using chemical and other banned weapons.

Warplanes and artillery attack civilian neighborhoods. According to Russia's Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) representative:

"Whereas previously, Donetsk was shelled by non-controlled units of the National Guard and the so-called territorial battalions, today it is absolutely obvious that residential quarters are being shelled by regular units of the Ukrainian army."

So-called ceasefire agreed on terms earlier are pure fantasy. Kiev systematically spurned them. Now waging full-scale war. Premeditated aggression. With full US support and encouragement. Washington already supplies Ukraine with heavy weapons and funding.
Donbas CyberBerkut hacktivists reported Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) elements' responsibility for attacking a bus in Volnovakha. Killing 12 civilians. Injuring 18 others. Publishing documents and letters proving it. On Sunday, Poroshenko and illegitimate prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk held a staged Kiev rally. A travesty. A monument of deception. Honoring victims they murdered. Shoving Je suis Volnovakha rubbish down the throats of brainwashed Ukrainians. Kiev, Washington and other Western sources irresponsibly blamed Donbas freedom fighters for their crime.

US Army Command delegation ‘to arrive in Kiev this week’

by element115
The visit comes as the Kiev forces have launched a large-scale offensive on the militia positions in the south-east of the country.

This week, a delegation from the US Army Command, headed by Commander of US Army Europe, Lt. Gen [Frederick Ben] Hodges, will arrive in Ukraine,” Vladislav Seleznyov, spokesman for Ukraine’s General Staff of Armed Forces, said at a media briefing in Kiev on Monday.

The spokesman also said that Ukraine will take part in the NATO Military Committee conference on January 20-22.

According to the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic count, at least nine civilians were killed and 44 injured in as the city endured some 50 artillery strikes from the Ukrainian military on Sunday.

There were also human casualties and destruction in the nearby towns of Makeevka and Gorlovka.

The Extremely Dark and Unexamined Underside of the Charlie Hebdo Affair

January 17, 2015 by element115
Netanyahu not only marched for the cameras at the front rank of a parade where he had no business, he made arrangements with the families of four Jewish victims for an all-expense-paid showy funeral in Jerusalem. None of the victims was even an Israeli citizen, yet at this writing they have all been buried in there with pomp and plenty of publicity. But Netanyahu didn’t stop there, he went on to make speeches that the French and other European Jews should leave their countries riddled with anti-Semitism and come to Israel, their true homeland. In diplomatic terms, this was what is termed unacceptable behavior which in almost any other case would get you thrown out of a country. In ordinary terms, it was outrageous behavior, much like seeing a seriously drunken guest loudly insulting his host at a party to which he was not even invited.

Stunning Terrorism Statistics that Nobody Wants You to Know

The Spectacular Media Failure on Charlie Hebdo

by element115
Because the real “why” was unexplained in the Charlie Hebdo massacre, an obviously false culprit was created, leading to a moronic national discussion in the U.S. media about whether Islam was “inherently” violent.

For the media to even pose this question either betrays a blinding ignorance about the Middle East and Islam, or a conscious willingness to manipulate public sentiment by only interviewing so-called experts who believe such nonsense.

France Follows Freedom of Speech Rally With Crackdown On Free Speech

by element115

Paris Killings: Media Lies, Unanswered Questions

January 12, 2015 by element115
False flags are a US tradition. Other countries use them. Black flag operations designed to deceive.

Big Lies. Gross distortions. Propaganda. Pointing fingers the wrong way. Falsified myths contrary to reality.

Pretexts for militarism. Wars. Colonizing countries for profit. Homeland repression.

Creating national security state extremism. A dagger in the heart of free and open societies.

Obvious questions aren’t asked. Cui bono? Why would both Kouachi brothers and Coulibaly target journalists and supermarket personnel and customers respectively?

For what purpose? What could they hope to gain? Martyrdom usually demands striking high-profile targets. Not ones unrelated to government policies.

The Guardian Finally Starts To Report The Truth About Ukraine’s War

January 11, 2015 by element115
On January 7th, Britain’s Guardian, which used to be a fine newspaper but isn’t now, started what will necessarily be a long road back to reality, after nearly a year of their intermittent inattention and Western propaganda on Ukraine — finally realistically reporting the war there as being what it is and always was: an attempt by the post-coup Ukrainian Government to destroy the area in Ukraine where the residents had voted 90% for the Ukrainian President who was overthrown in the February 2014 coup.

Only in America is the lying by media about Ukraine’s war so pervasive. That’s because it’s basically America’s war, even though the American public is overwhelmingly opposed to it. The American Government serves the American aristocracy — no longer the public.

Maybe the British aristocracy don’t hate Russians as much as America’s do; but, for whatever reason, they’re not so committed to the destruction of Russia as Obama and the American aristocracy he represents are. That American aristocracy control America’s ‘news’ media, but they fortunately do not also control Britain’s.

Truly Massive Display of Hypocrisy by Western Leaders

by element115
These leaders have no moral standing whatever, no moral credibility whatever on this matter or any other. They have long since dirtied their hands with their lies and propaganda. In their foulness, they have given up all respect. These are despicable people who are so low that they use the Paris attacks to jump on a moral white horse and act as if they are pure and defenders of their citizens. Hypocrites. They have no intention whatever of changing their very own policies of extremism and foreign intervention that have brought about attacks such as those in Paris and on 9/11. The West indulged in new forms of colonialism and imperialism in the 20th century and now the 21st. This has to be recognized, admitted and ended. It is leading to an even greater conflagration than anything yet seen.

I am not Charlie and never will be

by element115
Witnesses to the attack described the perpetrators as displaying a degree of skill and composure that “comes only from advanced military training”. Another witness further reinforces this image of the assailants as trained professionals when he noted “At first I thought it was special forces chasing drug traffickers or something.” This is echoed by security analysts Stratfor, who stated that the perpetrators were clearly well-trained “from the way they handled their weapons, moved and shot”. Simply put, there is no way a “radicalised” young person would develop such “skill” (and I use the term loosely) in the relatively small amount of time they spent marauding on the borderlands between Iraq and Syria. The expert marksmanship exhibited by the attackers and the calm, detached manner in which they went about their business suggest years of military training.

Boston Marathon Bombing: A Primer

by element115
As the defining domestic national security event since 9/11, the Boston Marathon Bombing has played a major role in expanding the power of the security state.

...we have found and documented a veritable mountain of dubious official claims, inconsistencies and outright lies—plus a concerted campaign to prejudice the public regarding the accused, prior to trial.

Why the Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect Is Silent

by element115
...an accused terrorist being held in the United States, the Justice Department-ordered gag on him has barely been noticed. And were anyone to ask why he’s forcibly been kept silent, they’d be told he’s been subjected to “Special Administrative Measures.”

...federal prison officials told via email they are prohibited from even discussing general information about Tsarnaev.

Restricted from communicating with anyone but his attorneys, his immediate family and prison staff, Tsarnaev is one of 49 inmates nationwide subjected to a law that some attorneys say skews the odds against a defendant and “keeps terrorism suspects guilty until proven otherwise.”

Promoting the Apocalypse

January 6, 2015 by element115
If you read a major newspaper on a regular basis you will no doubt have seen the full page ads placed by defense contractors. The ads generally are anodyne, featuring ubiquitous flags and eagles while praising America’s soldiers and war fighting capabilities, sometimes to include a description of a new weapon or weapons system. That a company whose very existence depends on government contracts would feel sufficiently emboldened to turn around and spend substantial sums that themselves derive from the American taxpayer to promote its wares in an attempt to obtain still more of a hopefully increasing defense pie smacks of insensitivity to say the least. I for one find the ads highly offensive, an insult to the taxpayer.

Some might argue that that is how capitalism works and there is no better system to replace it but such an assertion ignores the fact that competition among defense contractors, though fierce at times, is largely a fiction as all the major companies are on the receiving end of huge multi-year government contracts with built in cost overruns and guaranteed production lines. They also operate a revolving door whereby former senior officers and Pentagon officials like Rumsfeld and Cheney move out to the private sector, get rich, and then return to government in policy making positions. It is more like the worst form of crony capitalism than Adam Smith. Most large companies have decentralized their production facilities so that they have a workforce presence in as many states and congressional districts as possible, making it unlikely that they will ever be lacking contracts.
