The US government has concealed the existence of some 14,000 images documenting the Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) network of secret “black site” torture and interrogation centers established after September 11, according to unnamed US officials who spoke to the Washington Post.

Images from black sites in Thailand, Afghanistan, Poland, Lithuania, Romania and possibly others are included in the photo cache, which the Obama administration still refuses to release.

Wikileaks claims NSA spied on three French presidents

June 23, 2015 by element115
President François Hollande has called an emergency national defence council meeting after allegations by the online whistleblower WikiLeaks that America's National Security Agency (NSA) spied on three successive French presidents.

The announcement came just hours after WikiLeaks published documents it says show that the National Security Agency spied on top French government figures from at least 2006 until 2012.

“The top secret documents derive from directly targeted NSA surveillance of the communications of French Presidents Francois Hollande (2012–present), Nicolas Sarkozy (2007–2012), and Jacques Chirac (1995–2007), as well as French cabinet ministers and the French Ambassador to the United States,” it said in a statement.

US and British Spies Targeted Antivirus Companies

June 22, 2015 by element115
When the Russian security firm Kaspersky Lab disclosed recently that it had been hacked, it noted that the attackers, believed to be from Israel, had been in its network since sometime last year.

Now newly published documents released by Edward Snowden show that the NSA and its British counterpart, GCHQ, were years ahead of Israel and had engaged in a systematic campaign to target not only Kaspersky software but the software of other antivirus and security firms as far back as 2008.

He added that morale is very low in the Ukrainian army: “All the officers, the generals that understand the criminal nature of the authorities’ actions, do not want to fight.”

Pope urges changes to avoid 'unprecedented damage' from climate change in leaked encyclical document

June 16, 2015 by element115
Pope Francis warned that the world is heading for “unprecedented destruction” unless mankind confronts climate change and reforms the way it treats the planet.

“The economic powers shall continue to justify the current world system, in which speculation and and the aim for financial returns to prevail that tend to ignore each context and the effects on the environment and on human dignity. So clearly it reveals that environmental, human and ethical degradation are intimately connected.”

“The warming caused by the enormous consumption of some rich countries has repercussions in the poorest places on earth, especially in Africa.

“A crime against nature is a crime against ourselves and a sin against God”.

U.S. House Admits Nazi Role in Ukraine

June 15, 2015 by element115
When even the hawkish House of Representatives can’t stomach these Nazi storm troopers who have served as Kiev’s tip of the spear against the ethnic Russian population of eastern Ukraine, what does that say about the honesty and integrity of the New York Times when it finds these same Nazis so admirable?

And it wasn’t like the Times didn’t have space to mention the Nazi taint. The article provided much color and detail – quoting an Azov leader prominently – but just couldn’t find room to mention the inconvenient truth about how these Nazis had played a key role in the ongoing civil war on the U.S. side. The Times simply referred to Azov as a “volunteer unit.”

Israeli report on Gaza war: Ineffective PR

by element115
...from Haaretz --> ...the most serious problem about the Israeli report released Sunday is that it suffers from the same problem that Israeli government policy has suffered ever since Benjamin Netanyahu entered the prime minister’s office in 2009. Over the past six years, it seems Netanyahu and his people are trying to solve every diplomatic problem Israel faces by finding a clever, winning argument that will persuade the world that Israel is right. But the way to gain the world’s support is by acting, not talking.

Former Italian President: CIA & Mossad Were Behind 9/11

June 9, 2015 by element115
“All the [intelligence services] of America and Europe…know well that the disastrous attack has been planned and realized from the Mossad, with the aid of the Zionist world in order to put under accusation the Arabic countries and in order to induce the western powers to take part … in Iraq [and] Afghanistan.”

Francesco Cossiga was elected president of the Italian Senate in July 1983 before winning a landslide election to become president of the country in 1985, and he remained until 1992.

Bilderberg and Trade Treaties: The Shadow Government That Rules the World

by element115
Julian Assange and Wikileaks exposed part of the secret behind Obama’s Trans Pacific Partnership, which leading Republicans signed. Senator Jeff Sessions, a Republican from Alabama, was one of the few senators who publicly challenged the secret Obama treaty that, according to the 17 documents released by Wikileaks, will cover over 80% of the U.S. economy and create what Sessions called “global governance,” establishing a global government without the knowledge or consent of the America people.

The end game for Bilderberg is a one world government, one world religion, and one world economic system, which are outlined in Revelation Chapter 13. They want total control over the masses, whom they see as their slaves. They select and choose almost all presidents and heads of intelligence and law enforcement agencies and they completely control the Democratic and Republican parties. This is why, no matter what the polls say, the Democrats and Republicans will support things like Trade Treaties and numerous other legislation that the American public does not want.

Canada’s Harper Government Provides Military Training to Neo-Nazi Ukraine National Guard

by element115
The gist of Harper’s flash visit to Kiev prior to the G7 Summit was to reaffirm Canada’s commitment to the dispatch of “military instructors” in support of Ukraine’s National Guard, which is controlled by the two Neo-Nazi parties, Svoboda and Right Sector.

In April, Washington confirmed that it would send in a US contingent of instructors “of 290 specialists which will be working with the National Guard. Britain has dispatched 75 military personnel responsible for training “in command procedures and tactical intelligence”. (Los Angeles Times, April 20, 2015).

Ironically, the Harper government quite candidly acknowledged that there were Neo-Nazi elements within the National Guard, and that provisions were being envisaged to prevent Canadian military instructors from training Neo-Nazis

Monsanto Proposes to Change Its Name to Escape Its PR Woes

by element115
“Monsanto wants to escape its ugly history by ditching its name,” said Gary Ruskin, co-director of U.S. Right to Know, a consumer group. “This shows how desperate Monsanto is to escape criticism: of its products, which raise environmental and health concerns, as well as concerns about corporate control of agriculture and our food system.”

In a 2014 Harris Poll gauging the reputations of major corporations, Monsanto’s “reputation quotient” ranked 58 out of 60 companies. In other words, it was the third most hated company measured.

The US Government’s Not-So-Secret Support for Al Qaeda and ISIS

by element115
The secret Pentagon document thus provides extraordinary confirmation that the US-led coalition currently fighting ISIS, had three years ago welcomed the emergence of an extremist ‘Salafist Principality’ in the region as a way to undermine Assad, and block off the strategic expansion of Iran. Crucially, Iraq is labeled as an integral part of this ‘Shia expansion.’

German Banker: Obama Is Destroying Europe

by element115
“It is indeed irritating. People who are focused not only on Western ‘quality media’ are amazed at those media hiding the aggression of Kiev and the discriminatory laws implemented by the Government in Kiev, which constitute a serious challenge to the claim that Western values and democracy are being supported by the West. I believe, to Mr Steinmeier’s credit, that he is in fact talking plainly about these matters behind closed doors. The question is whether the behavior of the Atlantic alliance supports Mr. Steinmeier. I refer in this regard especially to Victoria Nuland. The fact is that by the coup in the Ukraine, an oligarchy friendly towards Moscow was replaced by an oligarchy now oriented toward the United States. It’s geopolitics, which benefits third forces, but definitely not Germany, not the EU, not Russia, and not Ukraine.” So, he sees U.S. as having gained at the expense of every other country, but especially at Europe’s expense.

Putin Says US Imperial Footprint Unmatched: 'Draw a Map and See'

by element115
"U.S. military spending is higher than that of all countries in the world taken together," Putin said. "The aggregate military spending of NATO countries is 10 times, note—10 times higher than that of the Russian Federation."

"I invite you to publish the world map in your newspaper and to mark all the U.S. military bases on it," Putin continued. "You will see the difference."

...from the comments section:

Ye Gods!
*I remember when Russia was our ally and friend in WW-II.
* I remember when suddenly Russia was the enemy.
* I remember when the US encircled China and the CCCP with bases.
* I remember all the brinksmanship, the enormous buildup of arms and missiles to "combat the 'Communist Threat'."
* I remember the dissolution of the CCCP, and the world breathing a sigh of relief for finally "peace in our time."
* I remember the panic amongst the arms merchants and the Legislature over the loss of profits because there was no threat.
* I remember the black op of 911 and the huge buildup of arms and fear and surveillance to curtail the "Muslim Threat."
* Now, with the most powerful Wehrmacht the world has ever seen, the US is starting the Cold War all over again to keep those arms profits coming in. Now, we are pouring trillions into building more nuclear weapons.
* Now the US is so poor it cannot help its own people. Hunger, fear, police brutality, homelessness are making the usually docile people a bit restive, so the Police State grows as the fears grow amongst the 0.001%.
* I'm sure glad I am an old man. Couldn't live through this cycle again, but I sure feel sorry for the youth of this nation, the youth of the world.

Alexis Tsipras – Let’s not be fooled

by element115
Let’s not be fooled:

The crucial element in the negotiation is not just the reforms required by our partners to conclude the program. The critical factor is to break the vicious cycle of this crisis. And this can only be achieved by changing the “recipe” — by terminating tough austerity that produces recession, and combined with an effective solution for the sustainability of the debt. Because truth be told, this is the only way that the Greek economy will once again become safe for investors and markets.

Unfortunately, the proposals submitted by the institutions are clearly unrealistic, and are a step backwards compared with the common ground that was reached with great difficulties during the negotiations.

I could not imagine that the politicians–if not the technocrats–would believe that after five years of devastating austerity under the Memorandum, there would be a single Greek MP that would vote in favor of repealing the EKAS (Pensioners’ Social Solidarity Benefit) for low income pensioners and for increasing VAT by 10% on electricity.

Obama’s ‘G-1-plus-6′

by element115
The main question is whether German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande, who have witnessed up-front-and-personal the behavior of Washington’s neocon policymakers and their Ukrainian puppets, will summon the courage to act like adults.

Will the leaders of Germany and France continue to bend to the U.S. diktat? Or are they more likely, this time, to stand up on their own feet and resist pressure from the U.S. and its UK lackey for continued punitive sanctions against Russia?

Tomorrow’s EU Parliament TTIP vote cancelled

by element115
The cancellation of tomorrow’s crucial vote on TTIP in the Plenary session of the European Parliament represents a small but significant victory for those of us opposed to this monster deal (in every sense of that phrase) but that’s all it was, a small victory.

Czech FM attacks West Bank construction

June 8, 2015 by element115
...during Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek's visit to Israel...he unexpectedly attacked Israeli construction in West Bank settlements, saying that the policy, "reinforces the atmosphere of hate."

"This also applies to construction in East Jerusalem, which Palestinians consider the future capital of their independent state," he added.

Israeli political sources reacted saying that the Czech minister's comments were harsh: "This reflects our situation with the European Union. Our friends also feel the tension. He considers himself a friend and came here to tell the truth as he sees it. The Czech Republic is no longer in our pocket."

Jihadists in the service of imperialism

June 1, 2015 by element115
Western governments no longer hide the fact that they’re using jihadists - NATO overthrew Mouamar el-Kadhafi by using al-Qaïda as its its only ground forces; Israël displaced the UN Forces to Golan, and replaced them with al-Nosra; the international anti-Daesh Coalition allowed Palmyra to fall in order to cause more problems for Syria. But while we can understand Western interests, we fail to grasp why and how the jihadists can serve Uncle Sam in the name of the Coran.

Former Blackwater Special Ops Commander is now Isis Recruiter

by element115
Gulmurod Khalimov, a distinguished officer, had gone missing sometime in April. He resurfaced the last Thursday, when he appeared on an Isis propaganda video. In the 10-minute video, Colonel Gulmurod Khalimov, who just weeks back was responsible for the country's security, lashed out at Tajikistan's policy towards religion, which he says is anti-Islamic.

"From 2003-2014 Colonel Khalimov participated in five counterterrorism training courses in the United States and in Tajikistan, through the Department of State's Diplomatic Security/Anti-Terrorism Assistance program."

It is also reported that Colonel Khalimov is also trained in crisis response, tactical management of special events, tactical leadership training and related issues.

Relentless Putin Bashing

by element115
Washington continues supporting Kiev’s naked aggression on Donbass.

Russia has done more than all other nations combined to resolve the conflict diplomatically.

It’s forces aren’t committing “naked aggression.” They’re not fighting alongside Donbass militias or supplying them with weapons and munitions.

Russia isn’t fueling conflict. It’s going all-out to stop it diplomatically. It fully complies with Minsk ceasefire terms. Kiev is a serial violator.

Sovereignty, Sedition and Russia’s Undesirable NGOs

German FM calls for removal of Gaza blockade

by element115
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has called for the removal of Israel’s eight-year-long blockade on the Gaza Strip.

“The troubled situation in Gaza demands of us to think about concrete steps to improve daily life there — without which, I am afraid, the situation is escalating,” he added.

Gaza has been blockaded by Israel since 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standard of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.
