Putin Decides to Donate 50,000 Tons of Russia's Coal Daily to Ukraine for Heat

On Saturday, December 27th, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided that though Ukraine cannot now pay for coal and will soon go bankrupt, so that any ‘sale’ of coal to Ukraine will be a donation, Russia will nonetheless supply 50,000 tons of coal per day to Ukraine in order to help them through the winter. The official announcement said that “this is a demonstration of good will of President Vladimir Putin to provide real support for the Ukrainian people.”

Iran to Australia: We warned you about the gunman

Iran repeatedly warned Australia about the criminal past of the perpetrator of the Sydney cafe siege and called for him to be kept under surveillance, top officials in Tehran said.

"Despite several notifications to the Australian government regarding his criminal background, no attention was paid," Rahimpour told state television late Tuesday.

"We provided information and asked them to watch this person but unfortunately they did not pay attention.

It seems that Israeli Prime Murderer Benjamin Netanyahu is all in a dither because much of Europe seems on the verge of recognizing Palestine.

If there is such an agreement, the nonsensical ‘negotiations’ that have been ongoing for years, and have only delayed any real international action while Israel commits incremental genocide, will cease. The United States will no longer be able to support Israel’s land grabs and other atrocities through the guise of ‘negotiations’. Palestine will exist as a free and independent country, and there will be nothing to negotiate.

As is expected, the media moved to simultaneously paint the event as a ‘heroic act’ by the security services, and a shocking ‘terrorist-related attack’, but was it really?

It’s important to understand the context in which this latest event fits in respect to new international security state’s command-and-control matrix. There are two main prevailing social paradigms at play here – predictable Islamic terror fear-mongering on the right, and on the left there’s fear of wrongly ‘profiling’ all Muslims living within western nation states.

...only 12 months earlier, Australian security services ran a domestic terror drill next to the very same location at Martin Place. The drill included dozens of fully equipped Australian Defence Force counter terrorism soldiers, who carried out a”mock terror drill”.

The body “supports in principle recognition of Palestinian statehood and the two-state solution, and believes these should go hand in hand with the development of peace talks, which should be advanced.”

Resolution language urged Fatah and Hamas “end internal divisions.” Highlighting “the importance of consolidating the authority of the Palestinian consensus government.”

Netanyahu --> “We will not allow this. We will rebuff this forcefully and responsibly. Let there be no doubt, this will be rejected.”

US Targeting Hundreds of Millions of Russian Civilians

White House officials are openly expressing happiness with their siege/war tactics that they say are throwing Russia into an economic collapse and are, as a scholar defending the siege notes, “hurting the Russian public’s ability to buy food or heat homes”.

US siege tactics against the Russian people involve coordination with close US ally Saudi Arabia to drive down the prices of oil and gas, some of Russia’s main sources of income. This is similar to the Wal Mart tactic of lowering its prices until smaller businesses are destroyed, then re-raising prices once a stranglehold over the market is attained.

Guess which currency has stronger fundamentals— the dollar or… ruble?

Last night, the Russian central bank announced a shock decision to hike up its key interest rate from 10.5% to 17%, effective immediately. Incredible.

On Monday alone the ruble declined more than 9% against the dollar, and almost 50% in 2014. It looks like a massacre.

If you listen to conventional financial news, they’ll all tell you that you’d have to be insane to own anything in Russia right now—stocks, bonds, currency, etc.

They’ll tell you that the ruble is in freefall, and that the dollar is the place to be.

...start off with the premise that ALL paper currencies are fundamentally flawed.

Our global monetary system is absurd — the idea of letting unelected central bankers conjure as much money as they want to out of thin air is simply insane.

...if you want to understand the health of a currency, it’s imperative to look at the ISSUER of that currency, i.e. the central bank.

...level of solvency.

The US Federal Reserve only has a basic capital ratio of 1.26%. Talk about razor thin. (This is down from 4.5% just a few years ago)

That means if the value of the Fed’s assets declines by only 1.26%, the issuer of the world’s dominant reserve currency becomes insolvent.

On the other hand, the Russian central bank’s ratio is 12.5%—literally almost TEN TIMES GREATER than the Fed.

...it’s important to see the amount of REAL ASSETS that a central bank holds in reserve.

“The Federal Reserve does not own gold.”

How much gold backs the dollar?

Precisely zero point zero percent. Zilch. Nada.

Hundreds of police killings go unreported

According to a Wall Street Journal report, national statistics provided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation do not report 25 percent or more of police killings in the US.

The newspaper analyzed data from 105 of the largest police agencies in the country and compared the figures to the official statistics of the FBI. More than 550 killings between 2007 and 2012 were not part of the FBI totals.
