Toronto protesters mark May Day

Thousands of protesters filled the streets in Toronto on Saturday in separate marches marking the fifth annual May Day and calling for the legalization of marijuana.

May 1 is International Workers' Day, and people demonstrated in many major cities around the world

Decriminalize and tax it.

Apparently pot is not the drug of choice for hack right wingers. Ask Jaffer and his former cabinet minister wife what drug that might be.

Pot is a 6 billion dollar a year industry in B.C. alone. Hello?

At 30% tax that is 2 billion a year for that province alone.

It is pure stupidity that pot is still illegal - it makes no sense and was out lawed for no substantiated reason based on fallacies from the racist Emily Murphy - former MP from Edmonton.

Courts rarely ever send anyone to jail for pot possession - so why even waste the time and resources of cops, judges and lawyers?

I used to say that the right wingers suck, but now we know at least a few of them do in fact blow.

That is my opinion.
